A big concrete tub sunk into the ground beneath the White Mountains and Boundary Peak, fed by a strong flow of water at about 105 degrees. The overflow runs into marshy ponds full of goldfish, and those ponds are also home to the endangered Fish Lake Valley tui chub, so leave them be. It's free, open all year, run by Esmeralda County, and about 20 minutes from Dyer on a county-maintained dirt road. There's a large parking area, primitive campsites and a vault toilet. Pitch your tent well away from the water, since camping within 100 feet of the spring is discouraged.
