Closed. This old swimming-hole spring in the Pahranagat Valley, about 100 miles north of Las Vegas on US 93, has been fenced off by the BLM since 2013, for public safety and to protect federally listed and sensitive species. Reopening plans have been published, but the recreation site is still shut, so don't plan a stop around it. If you're driving US 93 anyway, the BLM's page for the site is where any reopening news will appear. It stays on this list so you don't make the trip for nothing.
